Leadership Team

Phoebe Greer is an experienced school leader with a deep commitment to excellence, inclusion and ensuring that every child has the opportunity to thrive. After graduating with a First Class Honours BA in English from the University of Bristol, she completed a Master's degree in English at the University of Oxford before undertaking her PGCE in 2013 and beginning her career in primary education.

Having worked across four South London boroughs, predominantly in schools judged Outstanding, Phoebe has developed extensive expertise in school improvement and curriculum development. In 2018, she joined STEP Academy Trust as a senior leader, contributing significantly to the development of school culture, standards and pupil outcomes.

Phoebe became Deputy Head Teacher at La Fontaine Academy in 2021, where she played a key role in the school's improvement journey. During her tenure, she supported the school through an Ofsted monitoring inspection, after which inspectors concluded that the school should be reinspected to determine whether it met the criteria for an Outstanding judgement. She has since returned to La Fontaine Academy as Head Teacher, leading the school with a clear vision centred on excellence, inclusion and opportunity for all.

Her passion lies in creating schools where every child feels valued, supported and capable of success. While at David Livingstone Academy, she was particularly proud that the school's curriculum and pedagogy were recognised by Ofsted as being "inclusive by design" and that families and members of the wider community described the school as feeling more like a family than a school. For Phoebe, these reflections embody the essence of exceptional education: ambitious learning underpinned by belonging, care and high expectations.

Alongside her school leadership roles, Phoebe has served as a school governor and holds the National Professional Qualification for Headship (NPQH). She is currently undertaking the National Professional Qualification for SENCOs (NPQSENCO), reflecting her ongoing commitment to inclusive practice and ensuring that every child receives the support they need to flourish.
